House Mouse: For Mum

I made this card for my mum for mothers day last Sunday. She likes house mouse images, so I used this sweet hopper image and created an easel card, her favourite type of card.
I die cut my image in an oval and coloured with spectrum noirs.
The papers are from Anna Marie Designs blissful green, matted on white. I also used a matching sentiment.
I added lace, a doily, prima flowers and a border die to edge the top.

Through the Craftroom door Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at Through the craft room door and as ever, its anything goes.
We are sponsored by Twinkle lane designs.
For my card I used the image Rose and the rose papers from their digi shop.
The pink gingham came from another range. I kept the card simple, colouring the image with spectrum noirs and die cutting into a circle. I matted it on one of the Tattered lace doily circle die cuts. I finished by adding a polka doodles sentiment to finish.

I added lace and an LOTV sentiment to finish.

The Paper Shelter: Spring

It is time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter and this weeks challenge is spring.
For a change, I used the topper and backing paper, featured with each digi stamp. I used Emily.
I matted both on white and added lace, ribbon and flowers to finish.

Elegant 18 Tilda

Today i have a card to share featuring Evening Tilda.
For my birthday i received some Prima goodies including the Rose Quartz paper pad and matching flowers which i used on this card, matted on black and white.
I coloured my image with promarkers and die cut into an oval.

I embellished with white organza ribbon, black lace, die cut swirls, flowers, pearls, a sparkly black dot and a key charm, as it is an 18th birthday card. The sentiment came from LOTV. I even added some sparkles around her using stickles.

George's Puppy Tails:

It's been a while since I shared a Puppy tail post so I thought I'd share a winter post.
In the UK this past week we've had quite a bit of snow, and where we live its the deepest its been in about eight years.
It was the first time George had ever seen snow so deep and he couldn't wait to get out and play.
As well as running through it and playing, he also likes to try and eat it, every time he goes out.
Because he is still quite young, his walks have either been short or none due to the deep snow. But he has been playing indoors which is important to keep him mentally stimulated.
Some of the fun games he's been playing are hide and seek, find the biscuit and of course learning new tricks or just keeping up with obedience.
What have your dogs thought of the snow?
